The
map below depicts three villages in greater detail than in THE PLAN. Each
village has one east west DRIVE named after the village it is
located in. All streets are laid out in a modified grid
pattern for maximum traffic efficiency. There are only two
ways into a village by automobile.

Notice
that the VILLAGE DRIVEs are staggered to create "T"
intersections with the PARKWAYs. Each village has a shopping
area near its center. Supermarkets continue to get larger
and larger in the US, and thus need more and more customers to
support them. Therefore, one village alone may not have
enough residents to support a modern supermarket. Some villages
could support a convenience store near their center, and their
residents would travel to a neighboring village for their
supermarket needs.

The
village shopping area in the center village may be larger than the
villages on the right and left to accommodate supermarket shoppers
from all three villages.
