THE PLAN

The maps on this web site demonstrate the principals of the TEN BLOCK VILLAGE PLAN. The maps shown are not drawn to scale and they are totally fictitious. Of course, many developers would not have so much land to work with, or the terrain may not allow for a neat arrangement of villages. Nonetheless, many of the principals of the PLAN could still be used.

With the map below the community is laid out as twelve villages and one central business district. Two parkways connect all of villages with the central business district. The PARKWAYs and the VILLAGE DRIVEs are designed in a modified grid pattern for the most efficient transportation between the villages and the central business district. Each VILLAGE DRIVE is named after the village it is located in. For example, TRAILWOOD DRIVE is the only east west route through Trailwood Village.
